Giles Littlewood – General Manager
Giles joined Knight Support in July 2006 to start the Company in Nairobi. He previously worked throughout East Africa for a London based investment Company specialising in Carbon Trading, Biofuels and Forestry. His degrees are in Land Management and he also holds a Graduate Diploma in Natural Resource, which he one day promises to change into a Masters once he finally finishes his dissertation! (let's not hold our breath for that decision!)
Giles overseas all Knight Support operations in Nairobi.
Lillian Gathara – Human Resource Manager
Lillian has been with Knight Support since August 2008. She was a Human Resources Assistant at Klynveld Peat Marwick Goerdeler (KPMG) an Auditing Firm in Kenya.
She oversees the entire process of recruitment, termination, ensures discipline is observed, handle grievances of the employees as well as their welfare.
She is dedicated and ensures both the company’s and the employee’s goals are at par.
Kenneth Mungai - Sales and Marketing Manager
Kenneth is a graduate in economics and public administration.
Trained in managerial skills locally, he has 21 years of work experience in both the public and private health sector.
He has garnered his work experience working for well known organizations including Kenyatta National Hospital, AAR Health Services, and Meridian Medical Centre and carried out consultancy services for various organizations such as Chiromo Medical Centre, Kilimani Dental Centre and PricewaterhouseCoopers- Nairobi office.
He is responsible for the sales and marketing services for the company.
Catherine Kanyi - Administration Manager
With over four years Administrative experience, Cathy has worked as a Personal Assistant and Secretary in the Parliamentary Public Accounts Committee and Antipest (K) Ltd respectively.
In 2007, Cathy became part of the administrative department of Knight Support in Nairobi having worked as the company secretary and currently as the Administration Manager.
She is responsible for general Administrative duties of Knight Support Ltd such as PR, event organizations, stock maintenance as well as providing all customer support. She is also a certified International Life Saver and Instructor since 2003.
George Kagucia - Senior Accountant
George is a qualified accountant with 12 years of working experience. He joined Knight Support in April 2007. He is in charge of the day to day accounting and financial related matters.
William Kamau Njuguna is the accounts assistant. He is a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya CPA (K) and works closely with George in running the Accounts Department.
Front Office
The front office is manned by Lydiah Wathiaka and Patricia Kasingu. Lydiah has been with Knight Support since June 2007 and has been operating well at the front office handling visitors, clients and the staff very well. Patricia joined Knight Support in August 2008 and has been operating well too at the Front Desk. The two dedicated receptionists ensure that when you visit Knight Support Ltd you get the best customer service.
Boniface Ruto - Senior Fire Officer
Fire station officer Boniface Ruto is a senior Fire Officer who has been with Knight Support fire and rescue service since 2007 .He trained in Dar-es -Salaam with West Midland Fire Services.
His second in charge is SUB.O Stephen Ndungu.
All Knight Support fire officers have had joint regular training with several fire brigades from UK such as, Buckinghamshire West Midlands, Parklodge International with Red Hill Fire Emergency School.
The training includes R.T.A Fire Fighting, Search and Rescue, BA, Training, Shoring, Fire awareness Training and Fire warden training.
They are all certified by Parklodge International in conjunction with Red Hills Emergency School as Fire and Safety Instructors. They are also registered with the Kenyan Government under the Ministry of Labour - DIT as Fire and Safety Instructors.
Andrew Kaguru - Lead Paramedic
Andrew is an Emergency Nurse, Basic and life support training instructor certified by Resuscitations council of Kenya. He has been the lead of Paramedic in Knight Support since 2007. He worked at the Accident and Emergency Department in Nairobi Hospital for Eight years and AAR Health services for 2 years as a paramedic.
The Paramedic Team is a group of Nurses, Clinical Officers and Emergency Medical Technicians who have undergone Basic and advance Life Support Course certified by the Resuscitation Council of Kenya.
Their cover responsibility is dealing with Emergencies (Medical and Trauma) Training (External and In-house), Inter Hospital transfers, and Event coverage.
The team is usually taken through Practice and Assessment twice every year by Paramedics from West Midlands Ambulance Services. London Ambulance Services and South East Coast Ambulance Services (UK).
Renson Muruli - Senior Duty Officer
Renson is a Kenyan born citizen fluent in both English and Kiswahili having 10 years of experience in security service. He started working in the security industry in 1998 with Bob Morgan security services as a security guard, and later promoted to the rank of supervisor, manning the great southern zone.
In April 2007 he resigned from Bob Morgan security services to join Knight Support.
Renson and his team of dedicated officers work day and night to ensure that our clients are safe and get the best service.
His officers and guards have undergone a UK standard training in areas such as self defense, button work, arrest and search procedures.
Control Room Department
Charles Muchene the Senior Controller has vast experience as a Field and Static communications Officer. On retiring from the Kenya Army, he joined Knight Support Nairobi in 2007.
William Farah the Control Room Admin and Operations officer also has vast experience from the Kenya Army. He has also been part of the pioneering team of Knight Support Ltd.
The entire Control Room team being the heart of the company and a communication hub linking the company with our clients, controllers have adopted high levels of public relations and professionalism.
