Knight Support donated its time and services to the KSPCA (Kenya Society for the Protection of Cruelty to Animals) today to assist in the removal of White Egret chicks from two trees along Mombasa Road before their trees were cut down to make way for the extension of Mombasa road, which is currently being built. Knight Support’s Fire Department used its 30 meter Turntable Ladder to rescue the chicks before they were transferred to the KSPCA’s office on Langata Road. Also in attendance were the KWS and several members of the KSPCA. Over 200 chicks were rescued and are now safely in their new home.
