On January 9th 2008 knight Support fire department were asked to take part in an egg-citing project at HOPAC school called an Egg Drop….?!
Intrigued to find out egg-sactly what it was all about we were more than happy to attend…

Knight Support help with Egg Drop!
19 lucky Grade 7 students had been given the task of making a vessel that would protect an egg when dropped from a great height. They brought their contraptions to the car park where the fire truck and crew were waiting for them…
The packages containing their fragile loads were taken to the top of the fire ladder and dropped a full 30 metres to the ground….
Only 3 of the eggs actually survived their fall! Unfortunately most were destroyed on impact…!
But an egg-citing day was had by all the fire crew and students!
